The long prepared "Interview Record of Gentlemen and Noble Business Masters" also officially kicked off.

    Mr. Lin Jiapin presented a set of his latest works, "The Great Qing Official: Peng Yulin, a Famous Late Qing Dynasty Official," to Mr. Wang Shouxi, the General Manager of the company (published by Guangdong People's Publishing House in October 2023).

    The book tells the story of Peng Yulin, a famous statesman in the late Qing Dynasty, who did not want money, officials, or life,

and his life was full of wonderful and extraordinary deeds. The whole book is divided into two parts, consisting of 24 chapters and over 770000 words.

It narrates the "Liangshan Victory" and "Zhennanguan Victory" of Peng Yulin, a scholar who joined the army, founded the Hunan Navy,

and commanded the Sino French War; The scholar smiled and led the warship, with flags flying on all sides of the river; a hundred thousand Pixiu all reported their victory,

and Peng Lang won the return of his sister-in-law. This is a story of a lifetime of cherishing the plum blossom and reminiscing about his first love.

Peng Yulin has a noble character, never owning farmland or houses, leaving no descendants, and not being bound by fame and fortune.

He has repeatedly resigned from high positions, but when the country and the nation need him, he will spare no effort to step forward.

The narrative of this book is meticulous and the plot is captivating, which can help readers better understand the upright

and selfless life of the famous minister Peng Yulin. Peng Yulin's spiritual realm of "success does not have to be mine"

and his sense of responsibility of "success must be mine" embody a gentleman culture that is worthy of learning and admiration from all younger generations,

and can help young people establish correct values and worldviews.

The publication of the new book and the broadcast of interviews with gentlemen and influential figures have attracted widespread attention from all sectors of society.

    Attachment 1: Introduction to Peng Yulin's Novels

    Peng Yulin, originally from Hengyang County, Hunan Province, was a famous military strategist in the late Qing Dynasty, known as the "Snow Marshal".

He is a strange person who doesn't want an official, doesn't want money, and doesn't want to die.

He came from a poor background and became the commander of the Xiang Army Navy and the founder of the modern Chinese navy;

Promoted to the position of Governor General, Transport Governor General, Governor General of the Two Rivers and Minister of Commerce for the South Seas...

but refused to resign; He did not take concubines, did not continue the string, did not approach women,

but remained devoted to his first love, Meigu, who had already passed away, painting plum blossoms for his first love for forty years;

He donates all his money to society, does not own any land or house, and does not leave any descendants. He patrolled the Yangtze River, punished corruption and bribery,

executed the commander-in-chief, executed deputy generals, dismissed the admiral, and forced the governor to retreat.

He also investigated the crimes of many high-ranking officials such as Zuo Zongtang, Liu Kunyi, Zhang Shusheng,

and Tu Zongying who were impeached; He bravely rushed to the front line of resistance against France in his late years

and was the commander-in-chief of the Zhennan Pass Liangshan Victory. The court forced him to withdraw his troops,

but he angrily pointed the blame at Empress Dowager Cixi. He offended countless high-ranking officials and refused to accept court appointments repeatedly,

but why was he not "overthrown"? Always standing invincible
